I find it interesting to see how things are changing. Microsoft is in a tough spot. PS3 is on the move-no pun intended-and Kinect may tank hard (I'm buying one). It's a good time to be a gamer because this is when you fight for survival. That benefits us.
Oh and by the way, the fee increase for XBL...I think it's to cover ESPN and whatever else is coming to live soon.

I've had my ps3 since the launch of Killzone2 and while is surely has some great games, they are never near as good as some would have you believe. The price drop is exactly what turned things around because it surely isn't the games.
And in no significant numbers, will it be sold. It will be seen as Wii "+" (because it is) and only the sdf; and a limited few, will buy it.
It's Kinect.
But I'm really,really excited about Kinect.
I see it as no different than a console launch; very few have a must have game. For me that "must have" title is 'Dance Central'. I can't wait to play it personally, and I'm interested to see my families response. The kid is down but, not sure about the wife. OT: New IP's are great...when they are good. Of all the PS3 exclusives that are supposed to be "super god like", none of them have reached the hype. Good games? Yes. Great games? absolutely. The be all end all? Not even freaking close.

Do you mean to say that the games graphics (not grafichs) aren't on the same level based off of what you've played or what you think? Just curious because from what I've seen the visuals are easily on par if not better than what you have listed as examples of par excellence.

I've never thought about keyboard and mouse either for my ps3 or my 360. If I want to use them, I'd simply use a pc. It kinda defeats a major purpose of playing console games if I simply use a keyboard and mouse. You people are delusional. ...

I have way more blu-ray movies than I do actual games for my PS3. I find it to be great for that purpose, but for gaming it's not even close to what Sony and the sdf want you to believe.
Most of the "acclaimed" games for it I found to be way over rated. The only exception being mgs4. Everything else (gow3, uc2, hr...) are good games but imo not even close to reaching the hype. A good console with good games but not the be all end all.
